Commissions info

If you want to commission me or have any questions, you can contact me on Discord (peerkartosh). More examples of my art, including finished commissions, are available on the Gallery page of this website.

You can learn whether my commissions are currently open or closed and view my queue here. I do not operate on slots, so as long as my comms are open, feel free to message me about them!

General information

  • When describing your idea for the commission, the minimum information you are required to provide is the character(s) you wish to be drawn and a prompt for their pose or mood. Something as simple as "draw [this character] looking tired after a hard day of work" will suffice in case you are not looking for something complicated.
    • If you have a specific vision or an elaborate idea, you are responsible for providing clear descriptions and/or visual references for everything that is integral to it.
  • Turnaround time is within one month unless the drawing is going to be complicated (such as a piece featuring an elaborate background). As I am a sickly person with many other interests and responsibilities, it is possible for there to be delays; however, the client will be notified of them.
  • I tend not to stick to one specific style when I draw. As such, if you want the end result to look a specific way, tell me beforehand and use one of my works as an example.
  • Drawings I make come in a .png format, do not have a set size, and are 72 dpi. Tell me beforehand if you need a drawing in a higher resolution or a specific size.
  • Usually, I don't post my commission work on socials. That doesn't mean you can't do that, though! If you are a client, feel free to share my work if you want to, both in private and publically.
    • I add most commissions to the Gallery page of this website, and I may post them in batches on Telegram, so they are not actually private. If you want the commission to be completely private, please tell me beforehand (I don't charge extra for that).
  • You are free to use the art you get from me non-commerically. However, you may not use it for NFTs or AI training.

I will draw:

+ Original characters and fanart
+ Character interactions
+ Any humanoids (humans, stickmen, objectheads, robots, etc.)
+ Furries (most familiar with flat-faced, felidae, rodents, and ponies)
+ Cartoony designs (bugs, objects, etc.)
+ Suggestive themes, some softcore fetishes (don't be afraid to ask, I don't judge)

I will not draw:

- Hardcore NSFW, including extreme gore
- Full nudity (bare chests are fine)
- Art promoting hate towards marginalized groups
- Characters with gacha- or mecha-level detail

Payment

  • All prices are in USD. I do not have a pricelist in Russian rubles, but if you use rubles as a currency and wish to commission me, you can contact me for a price estimation.
  • The prices listed on this page are base prices; they can decrease or increase depending on complexity. As an example, I give a discount for simple, cartoony designs.
  • Payments are done primarily through Hipolink. You do not need to register there and the process is similar to paying for something online. Hipolink accepts payment through bank cards and virtual PayPal cards; you can't pay through PayPal.
    • In case Hipolink doesn't work, I will provide an alternative of paying through Boosty with the caveat that you need to register there in order to pay.
  • Payment must be done upfront. This is necessary because both Hipolink and Boosty can be unstable, and I'd prefer to troubleshoot any potential issues you run into before I start drawing your commission.
    • It is possible to arrange payment in parts, such as paying 50% before I start drawing and the other 50% after I show the sketch.
  • I don't do refunds. This is both because I can't send the money back abroad due to where I live and because I wish for my clients to be responsible with their money.

Process

  • First, me and the client discuss the commission's idea. The client is expected to communicate all the necessary details and I may ask clarifying questions.
  • Once everything is discussed and I give confirmation that I'm ready to draw the idea, the client will be asked to pay for the commission. It is possible to pay in parts as long as that is negotiated.
  • After the payment goes through, I will give a rough estimate of how long it might take me to draw the sketch and add the commission to my queue.
  • I will always send the commission's sketch to the client, asking for feedback. If any adjustments are needed, the sketch is changed accordingly and a new version of it sent to the client.
  • After the client confirms their satisfaction with the sketch, I proceed to finishing the piece. I do not send more progress shots unless I have any questions. The client is allowed to ask for additional progress shots (such as the linework).
  • I will send the finished piece once it's complete. The client will be asked for feedback once again, as I allow minor adjustments to be requested at this stage.
    • Major adjustments (such as changing the character's pose or adding new props) will not be possible at this stage of the process.

Prices

Pay What You Want doodle

Starting price for each character: $7

A loosely colored doodle without a complicated composition/idea. Sometimes I overlay these with a texture.

If not given a direction for the pose, I can pick it based on the vibe I'm getting from the character! Whether it's a halfbody or a fullbody can vary depending on the pose idea, although I generally favor fullbodies. I will also not show the sketch and will not make any adjustments unless I missed a major detail.

You are free to give me any amount starting from $7, but the amount given does not promise higher quality. This is just a simple way of supporting me!

Colored sketch

Price for each character:
Halfbody: $20
Fullbody: $30

A drawing with messier linework and colors. And yes, these drawings are lined! You will still recive a progress shot before I start to finish the piece.

Flat colors

Price for each character:
Halfbody: $35
Fullbody: $50

The artwork is cleanly lined and colored, but has little to no shading. This option is perfect if you're looking for a simple pinup/"character standing in a cool pose" type of drawing.

Linework can be done with either a thick marker-like brush or a thin pen-like brush; I usually default to the former if not given directions.

Fully colored

Price for each character:
Halfbody: $55
Fullbody: $70

The drawing will feature shading that creates a certain mood. Recommended for those who already have something in mind for the piece's atmosphere or composition, and those who just like shaded art more.

This option can have the most variation in terms of the brushes I use, so it is encouraged for you to use my previous works as examples if you're looking for a specific result.

Add background

Simple backgrounds, such as a solid color, a pattern, or a small prop, come free of charge, but I can also draw complicated backgrounds and scenes. I am still somewhat new to this and looking to improve! Prices for backgrounds are negotiated based on complexity.

Multiple props that create a scene count as a background. Additionally, the drawing can be either unshaded or have lights/shadows.
